Niamh Elizabeth
About
Hi there! I tutor GCSE, A-levels and ESL and have been helping students for 4+ years.
About Me
Hi! I'm Niamh. I think I am first and foremost a lover of words. I love languages, I love stories, I love talking.
I grew up in England in an area called Watford which is near London and then spent the ages 15-20 living in Cairo, Egypt with my parents, sister and brother where I started learning Arabic.
I spent three years living alone in London doing a degree in Linguistics and Arabic. London is very special and I love it a lot. But now I'm back in Cairo for a while!
I have lots of hobbies and especially enjoy reading, writing, playing the guitar and piano, going to coffee shops, helping out at the church I'm part of, exercising and cooking.
Private Tutoring
I started private tutoring back in 2021 while taking a year out before university. Before that I had been helping my siblings with their studies, but it became a job back then. Since then I have helped hundreds of students from dozens of countries learn English. More recently (2023) I began helping UK students with exam subjects. I love the humanities and have a particular knack for essay writing and love to help students learn to communicate their excellent ideas in clearer ways.
